We are Made for One Another!
Okay so I was hanging out with a friend last weekend and she had two push-pins in her room. I picked them up and I thought of this cool comparison that I wanted to share.
Just for a moment think of people as push-pins, they come in all shapes, sizes and different colors.
Push-pins are used to fasten items to a wall or board for display. One pin alone can hold something small onto that wall/ board pretty well. It can try to hold something big, but it probably wouldn't do a good job at it without us helping it stay in place. Two pins together, however, can hold up something big onto the wall/ board and do a very good job at it.
Just like the pushpin by itself we can usually accomplish something on a small scale along with the hand of Christ holding us and placing us where we need to be. Just like two push-pins together can hold something bigger onto the wall/ board, we can accomplish things on a bigger scale with the help of others and of Lord Jesus Christ. He places others in life to encourage us, to help us, to guide us, etc.
